Mendon Recycle Center is now open!
The bins are accessible 24 hours a day. They are clearly
labeled. Please place your items in the correct bins. The area
is under surveillance for safety.
Fall Cleanup Day
is Saturday, October 11 at 8:00am at the water plant. There
will be dumpsters available. This service is for village
residents only. Village residents are asked to bring a utility
bill stub for proof of residency.
Trick or Treat is
Saturday, October 25 from 4:00-6:00pm. Please enjoy the Chili
supper at the Fire Department as well.
Please support
the Mendon-Union Fire Department in November, by voting YES on the
renewal levy.
Approval of a tax for the benefit of the Township of Union for the
purpose of fire protection that the county auditor estimates will
collect $63,506 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.5 mills for
each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $42 for each $100,000 of the
county auditor's appraised value, for 5 years, commencing in 2025, first
due in calendar year 2026.
Board of
Elections meeting schedule 2024
Please attend the Board of Elections meeting on the third Tuesday of the month, unless otherwise noted, at
10:00am at the courthouse in room 107.
We need to show them that we want to keep voting locations in the
village.
POLL WORKERS NEEDED
The Board of Elections needs to know who is willing to serve as
a poll worker in the village of Mendon. Visit their website to
